The Lab is for work, not play. Do not play games on the MIDI Lab Computers. Doing so may hinder another student in need of a computer to complete work assignments.
The Lab is to be treated with respect, just like any other classroom. Please keep the lab neat and orderly. Push in the chairs when you are through. Please do not take the chairs or any other permanent materials out of the lab.
Ask for help from a Lab Assistant if you need it. If any of the MIDI Lab machines have any problems, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO FIX THEM. Rather call the MIDI Lab Worker or send him/her an email at techhelp@vandercook.edu.
NO FOOD OR DRINK IN THE MIDI LAB. However, if you must drink water (plain water) place it by your side on the floor and NOT on the stations.
Use Headphones for videos or music. If you play music or have to see a video (for educational purposes only) we ask that you respect others in the MIDI Lab as they may be doing work and your music/video may disturb them.
DO NOT MODIFY THE COMPUTERS. They are already set with every thing you need in class. However, if you think that the school can benefit from a specific download, e-mail us and let us know. Do not attempt to down load any additions to the MIDI Lab Computers without permission from Ravi Yeluguri.
